RFID is a major technology enabler for identifying and tracking goods and assets within a hospital.  It can help hospitals locate expensive equipment more quickly and improve the management of movable assets.   It can help keep track of items used in patient’s room and surgeries.

RFID can be used in conjunction with Microsoft Dynamics GP and its materials management functionality.  With all these technologies working together a hospital environment can contain costs and lengthen the ownership of expensive equipment.
