If you export SmartList data to Excel you should look at “EZ-GP” by Data Presentation Products Inc. (DPPI) (www.datapresentation.com). EZ-GP exports data from SmartList to Excel at speeds than can be over 100 times faster for larger record sets. Once the data gets to Excel use “Xcelerator for Excel” to automatically format the data into a feature rich Excel workbook. Xcelerator works with all Excel data, not just SmartList exports. Xcelerator let’s you re-order columns, hide columns, add Excel formula fields including VLookups, sort, create better formatted subtotals, create Conditional Formats ... every major Excel worksheet formatting feature can be completely automated. There is a special “Conditional Negative” calculated field for changing the sign of numeric values from positive to negative based on the value in a corresponding cell; like changing “Sales Amount” from positive to negative if the “Trans Code” is “Return” or “Credit Memo”.
